In the midst of controversy, Captain Smart, a well-known television personality, has been accused of being a duplicitous individual who embezzled funds from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

Some have expressed concern about him, saying that former President John Mahama should be cautious of him in light of the most recent accusations.

Unexpectedly, Captain Smart gained notoriety when, on the December 9, 2024, episode of Onua Maakye, a morning program on Onua TV, he made fun of the departing Member of Parliament for Adansi-Asokwa, KT Hammond.

The famous broadcaster called the defeated MP, shocking him with the news of his election defeat.

Following a lighthearted yet illuminating conversation between the two, the exchange swiftly went viral.

While speaking with KT Hammond over the phone, the MP revealed that Captain Smart visits his office to steal money from the party while posing as someone else in public.

In an interview with My Joy News, however, Hammond stated that he would not accept defeat after losing the elections in December.
