Former Tamale Central MP Inusah Fuseini has criticized Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin's demand that President John Mahama issue an apology for his pledge to choose 60 ministers.

Afenyo-Markin's idea, according to Fuseini, was politically driven and unneeded.

"That is not something we will allow. The President cannot betray his own pledge to the people as a member of the NDC. Fuseini said, "We oppose that.

Afenyo-Markin's remarks were questioned by Fuseini, who noted that Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia had also pledged during the 2024 election campaign to cut the number of ministries to 50.
