The Ghana Football Association has been formally asked by the John Dramani Mahama administration to submit a comprehensive report on the situation of Ghanaian football, according to Angel Sports.
In the 2024 campaign, John Dramani Mahama promised Ghanaians that if elected president, he would restore the country's lost sporting pride.
According to reports in the local media, the President has begun seeking a report on the state of football in Ghana in an attempt to restore the nation's lost grandeur.
Reports indicate that the Ghana Football Association is prepared to provide the president with a 75-page report that would outline the situation of football in the nation.
Ghana's Black Stars did not earn a spot in AFCON 2025 for the first time in a long time. Moreover, the nation was not eligible for CHAN.
The fact that Ghana's Black Queens are without a coach just months before the Women's African Cup of Nations is concerning because their coach has been named the Zambian women's national team's coach.
