Following the catastrophic fire that destroyed Accra's Kantamanto Market on January 2, 2025, Prophet Naakwaa Isaac, the founder and head of Jericho Miracle Church, promised to provide financial support to his members who needed it most. To aid in the reconstruction of their enterprises, he declared that each impacted member will get GH¢20,000.

But according to Prophet Naakwaa Isaac, members must show their welfare and dues cards as evidence of current membership in order to be eligible for this assistance. By requiring this, the aid is guaranteed to reach people who have demonstrated a commitment to the church's community.

Over 100 stores were damaged in the Kantamanto Market fire, which left many entrepreneurs struggling financially. In reaction, a number of people and groups have stepped up to help the victims. To help individuals impacted by the fire, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia made a noteworthy donation of GH¢200,000.

The congregation of Prophet Naakwaa Isaac has expressed gratitude for his initiative. A junior pastor thanked him, saying, "Patron, may God bless you. Ghanaians and your audience would understand from this that discussing prophets is not just hollow rhetoric. You are clearly carrying out God's will.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, with some officials suspecting faulty electri arson has not been ruled out. The disaster has prompted calls for improved safety measures in markets to prevent such incidents in the future.

In addition to Prophet Naakwaa Isaac's support, other notable figures have extended help. Ghanaian musician Wendy Shay donated GH¢10,000 to the affected traders, expressing her sadness over the destruction and her connection to the market. Similarly, UK-based Ghanaian businessman Stanley Kodia contributed GH¢100,000 to assist those impacted by the fire.

The outpouring of support from religious leaders, public figures, and the community underscores the collective effort to aid those affected by the Kantamanto Market fire. As investigations continue, there is a growing emphasis on implementing p to safeguard the livelihoods of traders and ensure the safety of public marketplaces across the country.
