At Twifo Mmaa Baasa, a sad motorcycle accident claimed the life of a 22-year-old Senior High School (SHS) graduate. Reports state that the young man was reportedly talking to his girlfriend on the phone at the time of the disaster. This promising life was cut short by the crash, which is said to have been caused in part by this deadly distraction.

Witnesses pointed out the risks of using cell phones while driving and said the collision was preventable. Motorcycles can be very dangerous if road safety regulations are not properly observed, despite their convenience. Following the occurrence, the Twifo Mmaa Baasa community is in sorrow, with many people lamenting the tragedy's avoidable nature.

This devastating event serves as a stark reminder of the risks posed by distracted driving, especially for motorcyclists. It underscores the urgent need for public education campaigns on road safety and stricter enforcement of traffic regulations to prevent such avoidable losses in the future.
