Ghanaians have expressed gratitude to John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), for their faith in him.

In his first social media post from his strongroom, the former president who is now topping the polls thanked Ghanaians for helping him fulfill his aim of winning a second term in office.

He wrote on social media, "Thank you Ghana! #MahamaThePresident#Let'sBuildGhanaTogether#ResettingGhana Ghanaian history books."
