Regarding the purported disappearance of prominent social commentator Twene Jonas, Kwaku Osei Korankye Asiedu (KOKA), a political and entertainment critic, has called on Ghanaians around the world to notify U.S. authorities, especially President Trump, ICE, and the American Embassy in Ghana.
According to KOKA, it is necessary to find Twene Jonas since his knowledge is essential to Ghana's development.
Twene Jonas's immigration status in the United States has been questioned in light of allegations that Trump intends to deport unauthorized immigrants.
There have been conflicting responses to the call; some wonder how Twene Jonas's return will help Ghana, while others think his frank criticism and insights are essential for national dialogue.
Some online users likened his possible influence to that of Hon. Yaw Osei Adutwum, who overhauled Ghana's educational system after returning from the United States. Critics, however, mocked KOKA's efforts and rejected the appeal as political rhetoric.
It's still up for debate whether Twene Jonas really AWOL or just trying to avoid the spotlight amid the ongoing deportation talks.
