According to Kevin Taylor, a Ghanaian social analyst living in the United States, Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak, the Interior Minister-designate, is unreliable when it comes to maintaining confidentiality.

"One of the biggest 'rats' in the NDC, Munaka is a waste of time," Kevin Taylor commented on his X page.

Following an incident during Mohammed Muntaka Mubarak's vetting, Alexander Afenyo Markin (MP) asked him, "Are you ready to enter your casket with some dirt for the sake of your country?" His post follows that question.

Muntaka went to discuss a topic no one had asked him to bring up, instead of just responding to the question.

“I will just give one example to reiterate this. I suppose minority leader you knew how we elected Mr. Speaker into office. The security services, I believe, have done everything in their power to find out which NPP MPs backed our election of Mr. Speaker, but they are unaware of it. You can't claim to know; you can only guess.

He declared, "I work with people, and I have vowed that not even my wife will know this; I would die with it, and I meant it."

Kevin Taylor, however, feels that he should not have disclosed this information or even used it as an illustration of his degree of discretion.
