Patricia Poku-Diaby stands as Ghana's wealthiest woman, with an estimated net worth of $720 million.
Her financial success is primarily rooted in the cocoa industry, where she has made significant investments through her company, Plot Enterprise Ghana Limited as reported by Ghana Web.
Before establishing her own ventures, Poku-Diaby gained experience in her family's trading and transportation business. Leveraging this background, she founded Plot Enterprise Group, initially setting up operations in Ivory Coast before expanding into Ghana.
The group comprises several entities, including Plot Commodities, Plot Enterprise Ivory Coast, and Plot Enterprise Ghana, with a presence in West Africa, Europe, the United States, Asia, Australia, and the Middle East.
In Ghana, Plot Enterprise operates a state-of-the-art cocoa processing plant in Takoradi, which began operations in 2010.
The facility has an annual bean input capacity of 32,000 metric tonnes and is valued at approximately $90 million. This investment underscores Poku-Diaby's commitment to adding value to Ghana's primary agricultural export.
Through her strategic investments and leadership, Patricia Poku-Diaby has not only achieved personal financial success but has also contributed significantly to Ghana's economy, particularly in the cocoa processing sector.
