Known for his popular song "Very Soon," highlife artist Fameye made a big impression at Danyame Recreational Village in Akwatia-Boadua with his thrilling performance.

As he was entertaining the crowd with one of his well-known songs, a fan passionately threw him money, eliciting raucous applause.

To address the matter in a lighthearted yet firm manner, Fameye, however, took a moment during her performance. "Unless you're on my team, nobody should touch the money," he remarked, gesturing to the crowd.

You didn't bring me! Everyone in the crowd burst out laughing at his clever comment.

Subsequently, the "Very Soon" hitmaker returned to the stage with even more vigor, thanking the fan while making sure the money was intact.

Fameye, known for chart-topping hits like “Praise,” “Thank You,” and “Nothing I Get,” within the week launched a first-of-its-kind gold-backed merchandise collection.

The initiative positions him as the first Ghanaian and arguably African artiste to combine artistry with the luxury of pure gold.

Titled the Fameye Music Gold Pack, this innovative project is part of Fameye’s broader rebranding effort under the theme “Premium is Here.”

As he transitions into a premium global brand, this move sets him apart from traditional approaches to music merchandising in Ghana, which have largely focused on branded clothing and accessories.
