At yesterday's January 7, 2025, inauguration of President Mahama, Seidu Abubakar, also known as Mba, got into a fight with police.

When the Canadian girls were abducted in 2019, Mba was one of the important players in the situation.

Gunmen who have not been recognized abducted the two Canadian women in Kumasi, the nation's second-biggest metropolis.

At the age of 19 and 20, the two students were volunteering for a nonprofit organization.

After being arrested in connection with the kidnapping, Seidu Abubakar, also known as Mba, and three other people were later freed after the Attorney-General (A-G) decided to drop the charges of kidnapping and conspiracy to conduct kidnapping against them.

Mba had maintained a relatively quiet profile until lately following his release.


It is still unclear what caused the altercation but the matter was de-escalated quickly between him and the police officers.
