Notorious armed robber ‘2PM’ has shared a shocking account of the brutal treatment he suffered at the hands of retired Commissioner of Police, Kofi Boakye, following his arrest several years ago.

In a viral video clip, ‘2PM’ recounted how he was subjected to severe beatings by Boakye, who was then the Ashanti Regional Commander of the Ghana Police Service.

‘2PM’ alleged that upon arriving at the police station, Boakye called him three times, took a cane from his wardrobe, and gave him a few lashes. He also claimed that Boakye slapped him on the right cheek, leaving him partially blind in that eye. The abuse didn’t end there, as ‘2PM’ stated that a severe blow to his stomach caused him to lose control of his bowels.

It’s worth noting that Kofi Boakye has had a distinguished career in the Ghana Police Service, spanning over three decades. He retired in 2023 and was appointed as the Director of Operations at the Office of the President. However, these allegations raise serious concerns about police brutality and the treatment of suspects in custody.
