Ningo-Prampram's Member of Parliament, Samuel Nartey George, has reiterated his dedication to protecting Ghanaian children's innocence, especially in the rapidly changing field of digital education.

When Sam George was vetted on January 30, 2025, as the Minister-designate for Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, he voiced worries about potential foreign impacts on digital learning materials.

He promised to do everything in his power to safeguard Ghanaian children's innocence, highlighting the need of upholding the nation's moral and cultural values in digital education.

He emphasized that the government would closely collaborate with security agencies under the Child Online Protection Program through the Cyber Security Authority to make sure that e-learning materials are consistent with national values.

"As part of our Child Online Protection Program, we will direct our Cyber Security Authority to work with security agencies to make sure that any e-learning book or model that is introduced into our nation does not contain anti-Ghanaian values," he said.

Growing worries about how digital education affects developing brains and the necessity of stringent regulations to guarantee that educational materials stay consistent with Ghana's moral code and cultural legacy are reflected in Sam George's position.
