The Effiduase/Asokore Member of Parliament has been scathing in his criticism, which has caused a breach within the NPP.
bringing to light underlying conflicts and discontent.
Patricia Appiagyei, the MP for Asokwa, General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua, and National Organiser Henry Nana Boakye were among the party leaders specifically chastised by Afriye for allegedly ignoring the Ashanti Region, a longtime NPP stronghold.
Securing a deputy minority leader position in Parliament has allegedly overshadowed the region's importance, he claimed.
