TV3 GH reported today that members of his own church discovered a well-liked pastor in the Eastern Region of Ghana's Akropong Constituency in a precarious relationship with a female worshipper.

The event, which took place at the church's guest house on the grounds, has caused a stir in the neighborhood.

Late in the evening, the female member of the congregation was discovered in a guest room with the pastor, who has been in charge of the church for more than ten years, according to sources.

What happened was that several churchgoers chose to go to the guest home to talk to the pastor about an event that was coming up.


When no one answered the door, they made the decision to go inside. They discovered the woman and the pastor in a secret place, which surprised them.

"He was caught in the room with the lady, and when we asked what was going on, he couldn't explain himself," a church member who wished to remain nameless stated in an interview.

"We do not anticipate this type of conduct from a church leader. We're having a poor day.

The church, which was once renowned for emphasizing moral principles and honesty, is currently under close examination from the public and its members.

Many are doubting the integrity of the church's teachings in general and the pastor's leadership in particular.


"How could someone who preaches about holiness and righteousness be involved in such a scandal?" another member of the congregation said.

"We trusted him, but this is a betrayal."

In the aftermath of the incident, the pastor has remained silent, avoiding direct comments on the situation.

However, it is believed that he has been asked to step down from his position temporarily as the church leadership investigates the matter.

Local authorities have not been involved yet, as the incident is currently being handled by the church's internal body.

Still, some members of the community are calling for a thorough investigation and for the pastor to be held accountable for his actions.

"People look up to pastors for guidance," one concerned local said.

"This has shaken the faith of many of us."
