The New Patriotic Party (NPP), the party's national organizer, has said that it would hold a large rally on December 5, 2024, to wrap up its campaign.
Accra's UG Sports Directorate Park, which is across from the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, will host the "Possibilities Victory Rally."
Henry Nana Boakye, the National Organiser of the NPP, posted a statement on November 30, 2024, inviting party members, sympathizers, and the public to this "historic programme," which will be aired live on all media outlets.
NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, former President John Agyekum Kufuor, running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, National Chairman Mr. Stephen Ayesu Ntim, General Secretary Mr. Justin Kodua Frimpong, and President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo are among the prominent party figures who will be present at the rally.
An Exciting Finale
Also, December 5 is the day of the National Democratic Congress's (NDC) last rally, making it a crucial day as both main parties try to inspire their followers and influence voters who aren't yet determined.
The NPP will highlight its accomplishments and lay out its plans for Ghana under Dr. Bawumia's direction at its rally. John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the NDC, will, on the other hand, concentrate on its governance initiatives and assess the NPP's track record.
Both rallies will offer a last chance for each party to present its candidature to the voters in what is expected to be one of Ghana's most hotly contested elections, which are scheduled on December 7.
