Assin Central Member of Parliament Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, who is running for the New Patriotic Party, told Joy News that the party has lost the 2024 general election because it lost the 2022 election.
Due to the devaluation of the Ghana Cedi, which caused all businessmen to lose all of their money, Ghanaians decided not to vote for the new patriotic party because they made it extremely difficult for them to live in the country.
The Kennedy Ohene Agyapong goes on to explain that whenever the nation faces difficulties, its citizens make their own judgments, and none of them have anything to do with supporting the ruling party.
According to him, the new patriotic party has lost support because the populace is not complaining about the party's rule but instead intends to vote against it.
