The Goaso Traditional Area's (Goasomanhene) paramount chief, Nana Kwasi Bosomprah
Nana Kwasi Bosomprah, the Goaso Traditional Area's (Goasomanhene) paramount chief, is said to have passed away.

At the Asanteman Council meeting on December 16, 2024, Otumfuo Kyeame Antwi Boasiako revealed Nana Kwasi Bosomprah's passing, according to pro-Manhyia social media site The Asante Nation.

Opemsuo.com, a pro-Manhyia news site that confirmed the paramount chief's death, said that Bosomprah's passing was announced when the Asanteman Council met to decide on a few cases.

In one of the incidents, the Goasomanhene was a member of the committee looking into the Tanoso Stool Affairs.

Since the chief's death left a vacancy, a replacement was urgently needed, according to opemsuo.com.

According to rumors, the supreme chief has been ill for a while.

Nana Kwasi Bosomprah is well-known for publicly criticizing the state institutions, such as the Ghanaian Electoral Commission, and the current Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo administration.

After shedding tears in public over the lack of progress in his community, the Goasomanhene made headlines.

His recent reprimands were directed at pastors and chiefs for lying about the situation in the nation.

The Goaso paramount chief, Nana Kwasi Bosomprah, was appointed in 2008.
