Ghanaian media personality Nana Yaa Brefo has publicly advised President John Dramani Mahama to reconsider any plans to appoint COP Kofi Boakye as the next Inspector General of Police (IGP).

In a recent broadcast, Yaa Brefo explained that all Kofi Boakye who is currently on retirement should be given a post in the National Security.

According to her, COP Kofi Boakye did a lot for Ashanti region when he was still in the Police force. However, getting him appointed as the IGP would rather be a setback instead of a progress in the issues relating to the security of the country.

COP Kofi Boakye is a high-ranking official within the Ghana Police Service, known for his extensive experience and previous leadership roles.

In the comments section however, some people have asked Nana Yaa to stop ordering President John Dramani Mahama on what to do as he came with his own plan to make the country better again.
