You'll be shocked to learn why a teenage girl wakes up every morning with bruises all over her body. To learn why their daughter wakes up every morning with bruises, the parents installed a camera in her room.

We are unaware of our actions while we are asleep. It can be even more challenging to remember your activities while you were asleep if you slept alone. Most people who are uncomfortable during their sleep will turn over every few hours. There are some who walk while they sleep and others who talk while they sleep. Because, well, you're asleep when it happens, it's impossible to know exactly what happens during your sleep.

One young girl's life, however, hinged on her parents discovering what she was doing while she slept.

Her parents would discover fresh bruises on the small girl's body every morning after she went to sleep. Since the bruises were not severe and this only happened seldom at first, they weren't really concerned. Most of the time, the injuries were invisible unless you looked closely. However, over time, a number of factors made matters worse. The family was having a lot of problems as a result of the girl's bruises getting worse and happening more regularly.

As soon as the staff noticed the bruises on the girl's legs, the couple decided to send her to summer camp, where she would wear shorts. She got new injuries every time she went to camp. In addition to the staff's duty to notify authorities of what they observed, the girl's parents were also concerned about the injuries at the time. They initially believed that her tendency to bruise readily might be due to an iron deficit.
