Due to remarks he made critical of the current National Democratic Congress (NDC) government, a man from Ashaiman has strongly warned Ghanaian artist Sarkodie.
Sarkodie recently shared a post on Instagram that read, "Back to gari soakings like we never left."
As a renowned supporter of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP), the rapper's comment was perceived by many social media users as a response to President John Mahama's return to government.
Several others went so far as to threaten the rapper after the post, accusing him of being hypocritical.
The man said Sarkodie had no right to criticize a government that had only been in office for a few days.

"I am such a dirty man in Ashaiman, and I am a stupid boy." You should wear a helmet everywhere you go from now on, just like Currency, your boy. Get a helmet if you don't have one," he continued.
