Akosua Odurah, the woman in the viral video, expressed her sorrow over Akufo-Addo ceding power to Mahama of the NDC.
Ghanaians' social media responses to her video were divided, and many flocked to the comment section to express their opinions.
On social media, a young Ghanaian woman has expressed her sadness at Akufo-Addo's resignation as Ghana's president.
The current president of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, took over after former president Akufo-Addo's party lost the 2024 presidential election.

In response, the woman, Akosua Odurah, was seen crying as her favorite Ghanaian president stepped down in a TikTok video that went viral.
