Nigerian afrobeats artiste, Tiwa Savage has revealed how she returned an extravagant gift from a guy who had interest in her.

Speaking in a recent interview on Beat FM in Lagos, Tiwa disclosed that a man once gifted her a Range Rover for her birthday, but decided to return it because she had no romantic interest in him.

“I got a Range Rover on my birthday, but I had to return it because I wasn’t feeling the guy,” she admitted.

“I didn’t want to lead him on, and I was scared that if I didn’t entertain him, he might want it back. That wouldn’t look good for my image.”

Tiwa jokingly remarked that her position may have changed because she has advanced up in the industry and experienced more serious scandals.

If I receive such a gift now, I’ll accept it and wouldn’t care about the consequences. If they want it back, I’ll call security on them,” she laughed.

When asked about her type of man, the “Somebody’s Son” singer shared that she prefers Nigerian men over French men.

She added that she likes them dark, tall, slender, with no muscles.
