Asare Kwasi Darko’s attempt to secure a leadership position at Tema Development Corporation (TDC) has sparked controversy, as he is currently in court against the same organization.

Critics question how he can advocate to lead an institution he is legally challenging.

Reports suggest that a prominent figure is lobbying the president to appoint Darko, allegedly due to personal and land-related interests.

Many believe this move is driven by selfish motives rather than the corporation’s best interest.

Stakeholders argue that TDC deserves a leader with integrity and commitment to public service, not someone entangled in legal battles or private agendas.

Someone who was involved in illegal land sales and change of documents and was taken through all necessary disciplinary channels and dismissed.

This is the man the big business man in Tema is lobbying for to become the MD of TDC Ghana Limited.

Calls are growing for a transparent selection process that prioritizes competence, loyalty and contribution towards the great NDC party over favoritism and nepotism.

As the situation unfolds, the grassroots, the Party people in Tema central , Tema East, Tema West, Ashaiman are angry and vowed to resist anyone that is not one of them.
They await the government’s decision on whether qualifications and merit will prevail over political maneuvering and nepotism.
