The New Patriotic Party's (NPP) running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, has charged that the National Democratic Congress (NDC) is against initiatives to expand job prospects in Ghana.
Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, often known as Napo, told NPP supporters at a rally that the party has submitted legislation in Parliament to increase employment opportunities for teachers, nurses, police officers, immigration officers, and prison guards.
He claims that these legislation are a component of the NPP's pledge to lower unemployment and fortify the nation's vital industries. He claimed, however, that the NDC opposes these programs and is preventing Ghanaians from finding work as a result.
He called on supporters of the NPP to unite behind the party's platform and behind candidates who are dedicated to boosting the nation's workforce in vital industries and generating jobs for young people.
