Following a defeat in the recent elections, the Member of Parliament for Manhyia North, Matthew Opoku Prempeh, commonly known as NAPO, has indicated a desire to reflect on the failure and develop a strong plan for future political battles. NAPO, Ghana's Minister for Energy, expressed regret with the outcomes but underlined the need of learning from the experience.

In a statement, he assured his followers and party members that the New Patriotic Party would not be defeated. We will take the time to reflect on this defeat, evaluate the causes that contributed to the outcome, and plan our next steps, he stated. He also emphasized the NPP's commitment to expanding its base and better preparing for the upcoming elections.

The previous elections produced a lot of unexpected results, and NAPO, a significant figure within the NPP, stated that it was critical to evaluate and change party strategy in order to achieve a better result in future races. He emphasised the importance of learning from this experience and implementing actions to make us more competitive in the future.

While the setback has been difficult to accept, the NAPO message of resilience resonated with many members of the party who are optimistic about the future. He urged party members to remain unified and dedicated to the NPP's agenda for the country, emphasising that political struggles are a necessary part of the democratic process.

As NAPO and the NPP continue to think and strategise, all eyes will be on how they intend to reset for the next election cycle, where every action and decision will be critical to recovering public trust and support.
