Margaret Boadi, a final-year midwifery student at the Catholic University of Ghana, Fiapre-Sunyani, has been named as the victim of Tuesday night's sad accident in Sunyani-Asufufu. Tragically, Margaret, a mother as well, died after becoming trapped beneath an overturned truck.

A truck that was heavily loaded with wood lost control and rolled over onto a motorcycle, causing the accident. The motorbike, on which Margaret was riding, was crushed under the vehicle.

She passed away from her wounds despite the desperate attempts of the locals to save her. The unidentified motorbike rider was taken from the wreckage in severe condition and taken to a local hospital. The Catholic University of Ghana community, as well as Margaret's friends and family, have been deeply affected by her passing. The school offered condolence sentiments to the bereaved family in a statement.
