The University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) has declared that Erald Salifu Amoako, son of Rev. Salifu Amoako, is not yet suitable to be questioned by police due to serious injuries sustained in an accident on October 12 that killed two young women, according to a JoyNews article. The medical report, which was signed by Dr. Fred Salawu on October 29, describes Erald's recuperation requirements following the disaster, which was reportedly caused by irresponsible driving.

Erald was treated at UGMC for a number of ailments, including a severe joint dislocation and an open ankle dislocation, after being referred by Legon Hospital. Police interrogation is currently impossible since he is still unable to bear weight on his right leg after undergoing surgeries on October 14 and October 21 to mend his ankle and cure a post-traumatic ulcer. Authorities will be informed by the UGMC's medical staff when he is well enough to be questioned.

In contrast, the families of the victims who have died are upset with this decision. "We are not asking for much just accountability," one family member emphasized, as relatives expressed disappointment about potential delays to justice. Families are still demanding fair and transparent inquiry procedures, but police have not yet responded to the report.
