Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, also known as Napo, is the Minister of Energy and the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South. He accompanied Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, and his spouse to the Manhyia polling station so they could vote in the general elections that are currently taking place. Voting went peacefully at the polling location, which was highlighted by the presence of the esteemed traditional monarch and his entourage.

In the Manhyia South Constituency, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) vice presidential candidate and his spouse, Alma Pokuaa Adade Prempeh, had previously cast their ballots at the Apagyafie Polling Station. Dr. Opoku Prempeh urged people to participate in big numbers so they can peacefully exercise their democratic rights and expressed hope about the process.
