According to the most recent Citi FM report, Bishop Elisha Salifu Amoako's vehicle was involved in a road accident near Tesano-Papaye in Accra on Tuesday, December 24, 2025.

The crash included five vehicles, one of which belonged to the Bishop. Fortunately, no casualties were recorded, although all vehicles suffered significant damage.

Eyewitnesses at the site reported that the accident was caused by a truck that failed to brake, resulting in the collision. The truck driver apparently fled the area shortly after the incident.

Authorities are currently examining the incident to ascertain the exact cause and identify the driver guilty for the tragedy.

This incident follows a recent court dispute involving Bishop Amoako's family. His 16-year-old son was sentenced to six months in a juvenile jail facility following a horrific tragedy in East Legon that killed two little girls. The adolescent pled guilty to manslaughter, negligent harm, reckless driving, and driving without a license. The court also penalized the Bishop and his wife for failing to adequately watch their kid, emphasizing the significance of parental duty in such situations.

These recent tragedies have drawn substantial attention to Bishop Amoako and his family, sparking debate about road safety and the responsibility of public figures. As investigations into the recent accident at Tesano-Papaye continue, the public is waiting for more information about both accidents and its repercussions for the community. Bishop Salifu Amoako has yet to respond officially to the terrible situation.
