Captain Ibrahim Traoré, Burkina Faso's military leader, was greeted warmly as he entered the stage to congratulate President John Dramani Mahama on his swearing-in ceremony at Black Star Square today.

Attendees, including Ghanaian dignitaries and international guests, greeted Captain Traoré, a well-known figure in the region, with cheers and acclaim.

Many people were overjoyed by his appearance, seeing it as a major moment of togetherness and regional solidarity.

Initially, there was question over whether Captain Traoré would accept the invitation, due to ongoing disagreements with Western powers and security concerns in Burkina Faso.

However, his participation at the ceremony erased any misgivings, demonstrating his dedication to strengthening ties with Ghana.
