Several government personnel in the Jubilee House, the seat of the Ghanaian government, have begun leaving their offices, according to Captain Smart, host of the well-liked morning show Onua Maakye on Onua TV. Captain Smart said in a recent broadcast that throughout the last three days, a number of the presidential palace's offices have been empty, with important government employees leaving, maybe in fear of a negative election result.
Smart also claimed that the Jubilee House's security cameras had been switched off, indicating that officials were discreetly departing. Based on National Security surveillance data that indicates the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) is about to lose the current election, he conjectured that the party might be preparing for a defeat.
The polls for Ghana's general election of 2024 have officially ended, and the tally of votes is already in progress. With the NPP and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) engaged in a fierce battle for control, the election has attracted a lot of interest. Voter turnout is strong, according to reports from polling places around the nation, especially in important constituencies that are thought to be swing districts. This might have a significant impact on the outcome.
The public has been reassured by the Electoral Commission that the counting process will be transparent, and they have been asked to exercise patience while the results are gradually revealed. The public and international observers are closely monitoring the election's final stages, as both major parties have made bold pledges for national development.
