Regretfully, before to the elections, Ghana Freedom Party (GFP) member Akua Donkor was listed as deceased.
The result shows that Ghanaians made a firm decision to change, and the NDC has taken back control. Now that Mahama has won, attention will turn to his January 7, 2025, inauguration. The findings also demonstrate a glaring difference in voter preferences, with independent candidates and smaller parties finding it difficult to make an impression.
In the meantime, John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) have reportedly won 185 parliamentary seats nationwide. making it the first election in Ghana.John Mahama will be able to easily pass legislation in Parliament and other things if he wins two thirds of the parliamentary seats. Ghanaians' dissatisfaction with the New Patriotic Party's leadership is reflected in the party's disorganized performance in this year's election.
As Ghana prepares for a new era under Mahama's leadership, this election highlights how dynamic the country's democracy is.
