The NPP Loyal Ladies, a dynamic volunteer organization connected to the New Patriotic Party (NPP), have stepped up their campaign activities in the days leading up to Ghana's eagerly awaited general elections.

As part of their plan to engage voters directly before the elections on December 7, the group has been seen going door-to-door on dozens of party-branded bicycles.

The bicycles would travel across neighborhoods delivering campaign literature and spreading the NPP's message of progress and development. They would be adorned in the party's distinctive red, white, and blue colors.

On Saturday, December 7, 2024, Ghanaians will elect 276 members of parliament and a president in the country's general elections.

Former President John Dramani Mahama of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the candidate of the ruling NPP, are anticipated to engage in a fiercely contested presidential fight.

An important turning point in Ghana's democratic history is this year's election, where important topics including healthcare, education, youth employment, and economic recovery will dominate the conversation.

With safeguards in place to guarantee the legitimacy of the process, the Ghanaian Electoral Commission has reassured the populace that it is ready to hold a free, fair, and transparent election.
