A recent document leaked from the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) reveals that approximately two million "illegal immigrants" have been identified for deportation from the United States.
The measure is part of President Donald Trump's campaign against illegal immigration.
According to the paper, there are 1,445,549 non-citizens in ICE's non-detained docket with final removal orders as of November 24, 2024.
The list includes citizens from several African countries, with Somalia having the most citizens (4,090), followed by Nigeria (3,690).
The United States has pushed countries to accept the return of its citizens as part of the deportation process. Mexico has the biggest number of citizens set for deportation, with 252,044.
