With the 2024 election just 40 days away, presidential candidates and their legislative counterparts are putting in a lot of effort to influence the outcome. While the National Democratic Congress looks forward to resetting and saving the nation's economy, the New Patriotic Party hopes to stay in power and continue their good initiatives and policies. Like the two major parties, other parties and candidates aspire to make an impact.

A video of Hon. Hawa Koomson, the member of parliament for the Awutu Senya East constituency, engaging with her constituents was posted online and reposted on Captain Smart's official Twitter feed. She was seen giving them each a bottle of frytol bearing the NPP logo in the video, which caused chaos on the internet. Following her recent visit to her constituents, she has faced a number of criticisms for her behaviour. The entire scene's video can be found below.
