John Agyekum Kufuor, the former president, has reaffirmed his intention to cast a ballot in the election scheduled for December 7, 2024. Mr. Kufuor, who is 85 years old, stressed that nothing will stop him from exercising his right to vote, even if he need help getting to the polling place. He emphasized the significance of the 2024 election, calling it vital for the country, in an interview on Asempa FM's Ekosii Sen show.

"This election is extremely important. He said to host Osei Bonsu, often known as OB, "I will vote as long as I'm healthy by God's grace, even if I have to be carried to the polling station."In response to a question concerning his polling place, Mr. Kufuor disclosed that he will be casting his ballot in Ayawaso West Wuogon, where he also owns a residence.

Political parties have intensified their nationwide campaigns to win over voters with just 24 days left before Ghanaians select one of 13 candidates to be their next president.
