Archbishop Charles Agyinasare, founder of the Perez Chapel, believes that we no longer need leaders who refuse to listen to the people when they express legitimate concerns.

The man of God stated that in the past, leaders failed to accept criticism or address people's problems.

He expressed concern that these leaders occasionally send people after their critics.

In a sermon delivered on December 31, 2024, during the Watch Night Service, he stated that we need leaders who listen to their critics rather than attacking them.

God expects individuals in positions of authority, such as the president, legislature, judiciary, and business sector, to act justly. He advised them to be kind and humble.

He claimed that some of our leaders are arrogant, and that if you advise them, they will rally their people behind you.

He prayed and declared that in 2015, God would discover leaders who will listen to what God is saying while avoiding arrogance.

Archbishop Agyinasare went on to remark that people have things to say, but our leaders refuse to listen once they are in position, as well as from the ground.

He also emphasized that when we embrace God's word in our culture, people would turn away from wickedness, such as stealing, bearing false witness, and committing adultery, and that living righteously requires the word of God in our society.

He referenced Psalm 33:12, adding, "Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance."
