Kevin Taylor, a Ghanaian-US-based media figure, has issued a strong warning to Ghanaians overseas, also known as "borgas," regarding suspected car mistreatment at Tema port. Speaking on his recent live broadcast, Taylor accused the Akufo-Addo administration of hatching a conspiracy to seize vehicles owned by citizens who are unable to clear them due to financial restrictions.

"During Mahama's era, borgas were able to clear their goods at the port without any struggle, but I cannot say the same thing under Akufo-Addo's administration," Taylor reflected. He further claimed that cars left at the port for merely two days risk being seized and redistributed to members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), some of whom allegedly give the vehicles to their girlfriends.

"Listen attentively, borgas. I have some shocking news for you. "You must act quickly on this information and make your voice heard," Taylor advised. He alleged that this conduct was part of the NPP's larger strategy to misuse state resources before leaving office.

Taylor particularly implicated Dominic, alleging that he was involved in similar tactics during the 2020 elections. "The NPP utilised a person named Dominic to steal a lot of cars in 2020, and they will do so again. "This Dominican guy is now hiding in the United States," Taylor said.

The media celebrity urged impacted car owners to remain watchful and loud about the suspected malfeasance. According to him, the NPP government is taking advantage of the last few months of its mandate to indulge in these activities, leaving victims with little options after they leave office.

Taylor's assertions have ignited debate on social media, with many Ghanaians seeking openness and responsibility at Tema Port.

As the story develops, aggrieved individuals and advocacy groups are anticipated to call for a probe into the allegations. Meanwhile, the Tema Port Authority and government officials have failed to respond to these severe allegations.
