In the 2024 elections, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama defeated His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia by a significant majority. His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia congratulated John Dramani Mahama prior to the Ghanaian electoral commission's declaration since the results were so overwhelming. His Excellency John Dramani Mahama receives a warning from Mr. Kwasi Pratt reminding him of his remarks made during the 2024 elections.

Speaking live on Pan Africa TV, Mr. Kwasi Pratt clarified that John Dramani Mahama informed Ghanaians that his new government will not name more than 60 ministers.

Mr. Kwasi Pratt claims that he will demonstrate against John Dramani Mahama after January 7th, provided that he appoints more than 60 ministers.

John Mahama should receive a message from the election results. Mahama stated that he will only have a maximum of 60 ministers. This implies that he can have a maximum of 60 ministers, but he can have 40 or 59. If John Mahama names more over 60 ministers for his new government after January 7th, I will demonstrate against him. On Pan Africa TV, Mr. Kwasi Pratt made this statement live.

Along with the late Vice President His Excellency Amissah Arthur, John Dramani Mahama emerged victorious in the 2012 elections. The current president, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo, was elected president by John Dramani Mahama in 2016. On January 7, 2025, John Dramani Mahama will assume the presidency.
