Thousands of people will attend President-elect John Mahama's swearing-in ceremony. This includes those from outside the country who have already arrived for the event.
It has been established that several African presidents have arrived to witness their new colleague take the oath of office. According to the most recent updates, Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt, The Gambia, South Africa, Botswana, Cape Verde, Liberia, Senegal, and Mauritius have already registered as present.
A total of 21 African heads of state will attend the ceremony. This is far greater than Akufo-Addo's swearing-in, which was attended by only three presidents. This demonstrates Mahama's influence, which is a good indication for Ghanaians.
International representatives from several nations are also expected to attend the swearing-in. On the same day, newly elected members of parliament will be sworn in, and Mahama's rule will formally begin. What are your thoughts on the large number of guests during Mahama's swearing-in?
