Emmanuel Kofi Tetteh George, Ghana's Minister of Communications and Digital Technology, Hon. Sam George, is making his mark in the global tech industry. Despite his political family links, Emmanuel is carving his own career with commitment and innovation—and he is now a rising star at Amazon Germany.

Career and Education

Emmanuel is a TES Operations Engineer at Amazon and possesses a double master's degree from Technische Universität Darmstadt. His academic career began at the University of Ghana in Legon, where he received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Material Science and Engineering.

In a recent LinkedIn post, he thanked his brother for being a steady support system throughout his life, saying:

“It takes a village. I’m grateful to my brother Hon. Samuel Nartey George, who has been a solid rock and confidant.”

On April 12, 2025, Emmanuel married Ruth Ewoenam Agbesi-Debah in a lavish wedding ceremony that rapidly became the talk of the town. Emmanuel made a statement with his fashionable outfit, while Ruth wowed in a custom-made corseted kente gown and a gorgeous white gown with a detachable skirt.

Who is Ruth Ewoenam Agbesi-Debah?

Ruth is a registered nurse in Germany. After receiving her Higher Diploma from Korle Bu's Nursing and Midwifery Training College, she moved to Germany and now works at St. Josef-Stift Sendenhorst. Her grace and elegance at the wedding drew accolades on social media.

During their wedding, Emmanuel shared a beautiful story about how he met Ruth on Snapchat while working the night shift. What began as casual chats quickly evolved into actual dates, eventually leading to their wedding.

“I was alone during my shifts and reached out to her. We started chatting, then dating. And now here we are,” he said in a viral video.

The couple's sense of style, particularly Ruth's kente costume and haircut, drew much acclaim. Social media users admired her grace and Emmanuel's grounded yet ambitious personality.

Emmanuel Kofi Tetteh George's story is more than simply a wedding; it's a compelling example of Ghanaian youngsters achieving global success. From academia to technology, he demonstrates how hard work and humility can lead to opportunities that cross borders.
