TV3 GH reported today that a tragedy occurred in the Oti Region when locals found the lifeless body of Owusu Bernard, a 46-year-old man, by the side of the road.
The neighborhood is in mourning and dread following the tragic tragedy, and there are still unanswered concerns regarding the reason of his death.
The scene was characterized as horrific by witnesses. An old woman, who was shaking, remarked, "We were on our way to the market when we saw him lying there."
"We initially believed he had passed out, but then we noticed the deep cut on his face."
The body of Owusu Bernard was discovered early in the morning on a peaceful section of road. He seemed to have been attacked before to his death, according to locals who gathered at the scene.
One young man, Kwame, bemoaned, "This is not something we are used to in our village." "Who could have done something so horrible?"
The cops were dispatched to the scene right away. To ascertain the circumstances surrounding Owusu Bernard's death, they have opened an investigation.
"We have taken his body to the mortuary for autopsy," Inspector Kofi Mensah told reporters.
"Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward. We need the public's assistance because this is a significant issue.
The deceased's family is in shock and finding it difficult to accept the loss. Samuel Owusu, Bernard's younger brother, sobbed as he addressed the reporters.
His voice broke with emotion as he remarked, "My brother was a kind man." "What would motivate someone to hurt him?"
To stop such occurrences, the neighborhood has demanded more security in the area. Nowadays, a lot of locals are terrified to go for a walk by themselves, particularly at night.
One store owner stated, "We want the authorities to protect us." "We cannot continue to live in such fear."
Anyone who may have seen unusual activity around the time of Bernard's death is being urged to come forward by the police.
