According to TV3 GH, a prominent preacher in Ghana's Akropong Constituency, Eastern Region, was discovered in a compromising scenario with a female worshipper by members of his own church.

The incident, which has caused waves in the local community, happened at the church's guest house, which is located on the church grounds.

According to accounts, the pastor, who has been in charge of the church for almost a decade, was discovered in a guest room with the female congregant late in the evening.

The problem began when a few church members decided to go to the guest home to speak with the pastor about an upcoming event.

After knocking and getting no response, they decided to enter. To their astonishment, they discovered the pastor and the woman in a private space.

"He was caught in the room with the lady, and when we asked what was going on, he couldn't explain himself," an unnamed church member claimed in an interview.

"We do not expect this from a church leader. "This is a sad day for us."

The church, which was previously known for its strong emphasis on moral principles and honesty, is now under tremendous examination from both its members and the general public.

Many people are doubting the pastor's leadership and the overall validity of the church's teachings.

"How could someone who preaches about holiness and righteousness be involved in such a scandal?" Another member of the church spoke.

"We trusted him, but this is a betrayal."

Following the incident, the pastor has stayed mute, avoiding direct comments on the matter.

However, it is thought that he has been asked to step aside from his position temporarily while the church leadership investigates the situation.

Local authorities have not yet been involved in the situation, which is being handled internally by the church.

Nonetheless, some members of the community are pushing for an extensive inquiry and the pastor to be held accountable for his behavior.

"People look up to pastors for guidance," remarked one concerned local.

"This has shaken the faith of many of us."
