There are currently 22 days left until the general elections in 2024, which are set for December 7. In order to improve their prospects of winning the elections, political parties and independent candidates have been forced to step up their campaigns and interactions in the final days. According to sources, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are the two front-runners for the election. But this time, the other parties have also shown tenacity and confidence in their ability to alter the country's political history.

Due to a statement he made during an interview, former president John Agyekum Kuffuor has been making headlines on social media. Due to his establishment of the National Health Insurance Scheme, Dr. Kuffuor, who served under the NPP ticket from 2000 to 2008, is considered one of Ghana's most influential presidents. The former president is pleading with Ghanaians in a post that was seen on Asempa FM's official Twitter page. He begged Ghanaians to give Dr. Bawumia a chance when questioned about issues pertaining to the next elections because he believes the flag-bearer is the best candidate to improve Ghana.

After interacting with the post, netizens reacted without hesitation. The netizens' dissatisfaction with his request was shown in the comments. Some of the comments I collected from the post are listed here.
