President Mahama makes peace-building visits to Bawku and Nalerigu.

H.E. John Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, is making peace-building trips to Bawku and Nalerigu.
President Mahama will visit the two towns today, Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
The President is determined to end the decades-long war in Bawku, and he plans to utilize his visit to meet conflict factions and key stakeholders in order to promote discussion and establish long-term peace.
According to the acting Presidential Spokesperson, Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the President will return to Accra later today following the meetings.
Before his travel to the country's north, Mr Mahama met with all of the country's security service heads.
