According to a GHOne TV report, an increasing incidence of vehicle accidents in Kenya has taken the lives of young people, leaving a university community devastated.
In the most recent tragedy, three students from South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) in Kwa Vonza, Kitui County, were killed in an accident.
The unfortunate occurrence occurred in the early hours of the morning, when their motorcycle collided with a truck near the campus.
According to reports, the collision was violent, and all three pupils died instantly.
Officers from Kwa Vonza Police Station responded quickly to survey the incident and begin inquiries into the cause of the crash.
Preliminary findings indicate that poor visibility may have played a role, but investigators have yet to determine the actual cause.
Following the tragedy, police transferred the corpse to the Kitui Level 4 Hospital mortuary as investigations continued.

Law enforcement authorities from Kwa Vonza Police Station came at the scene to assess the situation and begin investigating the crash.
Meanwhile, the deceased's remains have been taken to the Kitui Level 4 Hospital mortuary while investigations continue.
