A police officer committed suicide after killing three children, leaving a terrible suicide note.

According to a police report, the officer's lifeless body was discovered hanging from the roof of his residence in the Kakdhimu region of Homa Bay County, Kenya.

The bodies of his two children, as well as a relative's child, were discovered on a bed.

This heartbreaking episode occurred after the cop had barricaded himself inside his house.

Family members, alarmed by his prolonged absence, attempted but failed to open the door to the officer's residence.

They looked via a window, only to find the lifeless body dangling from the roof.

The suicide letter, a heartfelt and final farewell to his beloved wife, family, and the National Police Service, was found inside the residence.

In the note, he requested that his family bury him in the same grave as his children, without coffins, and that no food be provided during the funeral.

He also instructed the police chief to ensure that Kenya Police Service procedures were observed so that people would not presume he had worked in mjengo or as a fisherman.



Furthermore, he instructed his wife, Awuor, to marry her sweetheart, Lino, in peace.

Police authorities processed the scene of the tragedy before transporting the bodies to the local morgue for preservation and postmortem.

This tragic event serves as just another reminder of the growing number of police personnel who commit suicide.
