At the Greater Accra area's Okaikoi North Constituency Collation center, two Electoral Commission (EC) officials have fainted.
This resulted from an altercation that broke out at the venue between partygoers and the cops.
James Eshun of Joy News said that despite lacking accreditation cards, members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) tried to barge into the collation center.
By accompanying the EC officials as they entered with the ballot boxes, they were forced to utilize an alternative channel.
In an attempt to dissuade them, the police pepper-sprayed the supporters with magnum compact, which caused two EC officials to faint.
They were taken to Achimota Hospital immediately.
