According to CITI FM, two teachers were sadly killed in a vehicle accident in the Ashanti Region on Sunday evening.

The accident occurred while the two were going home from a nearby club.

According to eyewitnesses, their vehicle drifted off the road and flipped.

"It was a horrifying scene," said Kwame Asare, a resident who witnessed the tragedy.

"The car skidded off the road and hit a tree before overturning."

The tragedy occurred on a poorly lit stretch of road that many residents see as a danger zone due to its narrowness and steep turns.

Authorities believe the accident was caused by excessive speeding, although investigations are still ongoing.

One of the witnesses, Ama Serwaa, expressed regret about the occurrence.

"These teachers were well-known across our community. They worked tirelessly to shape the future of our children. "It's a huge loss for us all," she remarked.

The victims, both male instructors, were reportedly returning home from a weekend vacation. According to some of their coworkers, they went to relax after a long week at work.

"Our hearts are broken," said Mr. Opoku, another teacher.

"They were committed and passionate about their profession. Losing them in this way is extremely terrible."

Emergency personnel were dispatched to the location, but it was too late to save the victims. Both were pronounced deceased upon arrival at a neighboring hospital.

The Ashanti Regional Police Command verified the event and warned drivers to be cautious, particularly at night.

"We appeal to all drivers to drive carefully and avoid speeding, especially on dangerous roads like this one," said Superintendent Kofi Mensah.

This horrible incident has left the local community and the teaching profession in mourning.

Schools in the vicinity intend to conduct a memorial service for the deceased teachers to commemorate their devotion and service to education.

"We need to work together to ensure our roads are safer," said Reverend Yeboah, a local priest, at a prayer meeting organized by residents.

"This should serve as a reminder to us all to prioritize safety at all times."
